Privacy Notice

This notice explains how BB International Leisure and Resort Development Corporation (“BBI”, “we”) collects, uses, and protects personal information you submit through this website. It is issued in accordance with Republic Act No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.

1. Who is responsible for your data

BB International Leisure and Resort Development Corporation is the personal information controller for the data described below.

2. What we collect

We only collect what you type into one of the two forms on this website.

Contact form (home page) — name and email address (required), telephone number, address, subject, and message.

Application form (Careers page) — first name, last name, email address, telephone number, position applied for, availability date, and the link to your résumé that you choose to provide.

We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not set cookies for visitors of the public pages. When a form is submitted, our servers briefly record the originating IP address in order to limit abuse of the form; that record is discarded within a few hours and is never linked to the content of your message.

3. Why we collect it, and on what basis

Contact form submissions are used solely to answer your enquiry. Application form submissions are used solely to assess your application for employment with BBI or its affiliated properties. We process this information on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box before submitting a form, and — for job applications — in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into an employment relationship.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing or for any purpose other than the one for which you submitted it.

4. Who can see it

Form submissions are delivered by email to the responsible department within BBI — general enquiries to our administration office, job applications to our Human Resources department. Access is limited to the staff who handle those enquiries. We use Google Workspace to receive and store these messages; Google acts as our processor for that purpose.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your information only for as long as necessary to serve the purpose for which it was submitted. General enquiries are retained for six (6) months after the enquiry has been dealt with. Job applications are retained for twelve (12) months from the date of submission. After those periods the records are deleted.

6. Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to be informed about how your data is used, to access it, to have inaccurate data corrected, to object to its processing, to have it erased or blocked where the law allows, to obtain a copy in a portable format, to be indemnified for damages, and to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.

You may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal, and may mean we can no longer act on your enquiry or application.
